At Target I found a series of new books called Diary of a Wimpy Kid. There are 4 of them in the set so far. They look like a great way to get kids in the 3rd adn 4th grade to read books. I might just buy these for my nephew and give him the whole collection over a period of a year or so. You know, one for his birthday, and then the next one for Christmas, etc.

The downtown arena is packing with music fans just about every weekend now as all these big name artists are touring and performing all over the country. Last night was the Jonas Brothers concert and the highways was gridlocked by 4:30 with thousands of teenie boppers and their mommies trying to get downtown and find a parking place before the big show.
I haven’t been to a single concert this summer yet. To be honest, there isn’t anyone coming here that I care to spend that much money on to listen for just a couple hours. I’d rather spend that money on the downloads and hear it over and over again when I want it.
My mother felt strongly about buying brands that she should trust and I think she was right about that. There are certain brands that I trust and will only buy products from them. Like Kraft Foods. Everything that Kraft Foods makes is going to be fresh, safe and taste good. I can’t remember ever having a problem with a Kraft Foods product and I trust them. I don’t even know much about the company, I just know they make good stuff.
There is a cute web site that has clothes for dogs, called “Doggie Clothesline.” They have an assortment of clothes, from formal wear to funny tee shirts. I love the funny sayings on some of the shirts, like
“It Wasn’t Me”
“What Happens in the Park – Stays in the Park”
“Got Treats?”
