What a great Thanksgiving dinner I just ate! OMG! It was all the traditional oven roasted turkey and all the side dishes – and everything was delicious! I was in the kitchen almost all day long cooking it all. Even though it was just three of us sitting down to eat, it was worth all the work. We have enough for leftovers for at least 3 days of good food. Yum!

What do you do with 46 ripe bananas? I mean, I can only eat so many banana nut muffins. What else is there? Help!

I like eggs just about any way you want to fix them. I love soft boiled eggs with fresh white bread buttered and cut into thin strips for dipping into the yolk. I love fried eggs, over easy or over hard – doesn’t matter to me. Poached eggs are good on toast. Hard boiled are great – I have three in the refrigerator right now!
Last time we pulled into a Sonic Drive In, we ordered chili dogs. They were great. They have options, too. I like my chili dogs to have to chopped, fresh sweet onion on top. Sonic does that if you asked for it. Some people like grated cheese on theirs. Sonic does that, too.
There are different brands of hot dogs, too. At home I use the Ballpark brand, but the ones at Sonic were good. I would order them again – with onion rings and a Route 44 cherry limeade!
Hungry for a snack and no fruit in the house. What to do?
I popped open a package of saltine crackers and topped the crackers with an assortment of cheeses and jellies. I love the combination of orange marmalade with cheddar cheese on a cracker. I also like a dab of plum jam and American cheese together. You can try different crackers, too. The different cheeses taste different on the different crackers. Try it!
