For some reason I thought the movie was mostly about college football. But it was really about high school and good people who help others less fortunate than themselves. I like the fact the the main female character was portrayed as a strong, successful woman. It was so good that I might just buy this movie to keep it in my collection.

Memorial Day Weekend means the unofficial start of summer. Everyone who can possibly go to the beach or get out town will do so to take advantage of the long weekend and the nice weather. It is especially hard to see this photo of the Opryland Hotel flooded because just 2 weeks ago I was sitting right there, enjoying a glass of wine with some friends who were in town for a convention. And now it is under water and ruined. So sad.

There are 4 of them in the set so far. They look like a great way to get kids in the 3rd adn 4th grade to read books. I might just buy these for my nephew and give him the whole collection over a period of a year or so. You know, one for his birthday, and then the next one for Christmas, etc.
