My girlfriend signed up for some dating sites this morning. She says she wants to meet some new guys. I didn’t know what to say to her, but I’m trying to be supportive.

There is a hilarious site with a funny take on current events and the news called, “The Onion.” The web site has different sections, like a newspaper, with parodies and plays on words in different sections, such as Sports and Entertainment. I check The Onion every couple of weeks and am always laughing within minutes. It has a lot of British humor qualities. So if you dig Monty Python and Benny Hill, you will certainly like this site.
When the weather starts turning cooler, each morning I need to decide if I need to wear my jacket or my heavy coat. The jacket is good if it is raining, as it has a hood and is good at stopping the wind. But my coat is very warm and I keep a pair of nice gloves in the coat pockets.
I bought the coat several years ago and know I’ll never find another one like it. In this case, I wish I had bought two of them so I will have this coat for a very long time. As it is, this might be the last winter I can get any use of the one that I bought – it is starting to show the wear and tear, and it is breaking my heart to realize there isn’t much life left in my all time favorite coat.
There is a plaque with muted colors for the background and the saying, “Live, Love, Laugh” printed on three lines to make the art piece. I’ve seen a lot of variations of this same plaque, some of them expand the saying, but the one at Kohl’s is the prettiest one I’ve seen and it has the colors of my living room. So I would really like to buy this one plaque and start decorating the walls with pieces that I choose. I would love to look at this plaque every day and be inspired by it.
Tonight we get an extra hour to sleep or play. Since it is a Saturday night, I suspect that I will take advantage of the extra play time! All the bars that usually close at 2:00 have to stay open an extra hour, since 2:00 is the actual hour we are supposed to set the clocks back. I think I can wait until morning to set my own clocks back – and then I’ll pretend that I’ve gotten that extra hour of sleep, too. I know, I know. It’s “Teresa Math!”
