From a newspaper article in the San Francisco Chronicle, I found a site where you can download free worksheets to track your personal spending. Check out the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of San Francisco web site (www.cccssf.org). My favorite sheet is called the Fritter Finder. It helps track all those small cash purchases that eat up your ATM withdrawals.
If you were a part of the 1960’s and 1970’s rock generation, I’m sure you remember Alton Kelly and his wonderful rock posters. This man had a great sense of color and design, and made posters for dozens of rock groups, like the Grateful Dead, Country Joe and the Fish, Janis Joplin and many more. He also designed a lot of great album covers.
Alton Kelly died last year and there are some tributes to his skill and talent online now. It is amazing to see all of this work from the comfort of my couch using my laptop to cruise the internet. Just amazing!
Did you get a valentine today? Did you give someone a valentine?

I got a sweet crepe paper rose from my son that he made at school and a little basket of candies that he brought home to share. It was so sweet to watch him present the basket with a big smile. They had a party at school and everyone got lots of cute cards and sweets. I’m sure all the dentists are thrilled to know that we still gorge on candies and sweet things. Their jobs are secure.
